OUR HISTORY

The Servicios Generales del Oeste (S.G.O) Company was founded in 1984, located in a small facility in the city of Calle Morenos of Sabana, Costa Rica. From the very begining, the company manufactured fashionable, but relatively inexpensive resin outdoor casual furniture. In 1987, as production demand increased, the company acquired a larger facility and moved it's administrative and production equipment to the city of San Rafael of Tres Rios.

In recent years, the success of the company can be attributed to manufacturing the highest quality products, offering excellent service and industry recognition. In 1998, the company acquired two additional facilities in the cities of Cartago and Limon for the purpose of manufacturing and exporting Extruded and Castled Aluminum Outdoor Furniture. These acquisitions and its history in this country , make it a strong company, which is well recognized and respected. Today, the company has more than 600 employees.

The company has five functional management division: Engineering, Operations, Production, Quality and Finance. The divisions subsequently are subdivided in several areas.

A manufacturing plant for outdoor P.V.C. furniture, Extruded Aluminum Outdoor furniture and Cast Aluminum for Export to North and South America, the Caribean and Western Europe.
